O, come to the water all ye who thirst,
for those who are last are soon to be first.
For you without money will gather and dine;
the table is set with the finest of wine.
O, listen with care to God’s wondrous word,
for prophecy rings and begs to be heard:
The people shall hear with their ears open wide
that God sends a prophet with us to abide.
O, seek ye the Lord while he may be found,
for here is his peace, God’s grace will resound.
The nations shall gather before you and sing,
for God sends a witness, the Lord, as your King.
O, call ye upon him, he who is sent,
let all who are wicked turn and repent.
Abundantly pardoning, merciful, kind;
the Lord is our savior, God’s goodness we’ll find.
